These two cards were made with wonderful Sugar Nellie stamps designed by Diane Duda. 100% of the sale went to "It's a Girl Thing", which supports breast cancer. I made both of the cards for different Stamptoberfest challenges on 2peas. My mom and my mother-in-law were both diagnosed and treated for breast cancer two years ago and these cards were made for them. My mom should get her's tonight...I hope she loves it.
I made this card for my daughter with an adorable Ketto stamp that I purchased some time ago from Stamping Bella. I bought several Ketto stamps and I am in love with them all.
This tag is so fun! I love the Basic Grey micro chip chocolate chip letters in white. They rock! My monster is from a stamp set that I bought at Michael's. Don'tcha' just love this little guy? I do The cute, orange polka dot background paper is by AMuse.
Well, these are my shares for now. Have a fantabulous rest of the day! Love, Kelly

Halloween Pennant

So, Stamptoberfest is going on over at 2peasinabucket. It's a week of stamping fun that includes challenges, discussions, projects, and prizes! I have a challenge posted, too, so check it out and play...I look forward to seeing you there. The first challenge that I participated in was the Halloween Pennant Challenge. I made this pennant and it's now proudly displayed hanging from a shutter that is propped against my living room wall. I like the look so much that I have decided to make pennants for different occasions and display them from the shutter when appropriate.

I made the background patterns using cream bazzill, black stazon ink, and stamps from Hero Arts (spider web) and Making Memories (spider, skull and crossbones). The orange polka dot paper is by AMuse and I used the Fiskars scalloped border punch to scallop the edges before attaching it around my pennant. I freehand cut the black cat. The jack-o-lantern, bat, and Happy Halloween are from a stamp set by Cosmo Cricket. The glitter "BOO" stickers are from Martha Stewart's Holiday line . I used my crop-a-dile to attach my eyelets...I just love that tool...makes setting eyelets so easy.

More Cards!

A Year In Cards October 2009

I decided to jump into A Year In Cards classes at 2peasinabucket...these cards are total lifts of the designer and instructor, Kristina (I did use different papers and such). Her cards were just so great they had to be lifted. I had such fun making all these cards!

2Peas Stamp Camp

Stamp Camp is going on over at 2peasinabucket and I created this card using techniques presented in week 2's video by designer, Jennifer McGuire. Such fun to do...I love creating! The background stamp is by Impression Obsession (it's a new, cover a card design). I used my Sizzix Bigkick and my labels 4 Nestabilities set for the die cut that the sentiment is stamped on. The sentiment is by SU!.

Thoughts of you

I babysat my great nephew, Brayden this weekend so his dad could go hiking with some friends. I was able to snap this picture of Phillip, Brayden, grandma, mom, and dad before Phillip left for home. Brayden is absolutely the best baby! I wish I could see them more often.

I made this card using Stampin Up! Elegant Bouquet textured impressions die to create the flower background. The sentiment is a dollar stamp from Michael's that I embossed in Ranger seafoam white embossing powder. Ribbon is from my stash. I used the spellbinders labels 8 set to create the actual card base/shape.

Happy Harvest

Here's a card I made using SU! Loads of Love and Loads of Love Accessories set. I made it for a challenge on 2peasinabucket to use markers directly on my stamp. I used my SU! markers to stamp the truck outline in blue, the orange outline of the pumpkins, and the green leaves and curlies on the pumpkins. I used my copics to color in the rest of the image. The card and the background were made using my Nestabilities labels 8 set. Happy harvest, everyone! Fall is in the air and Tennessee is beautiful as ever!
Okay, how do I get into the habit of blogging? I so want to. I can have a good blog...just have to figure out how to make it a habit. I guess I'm going to start doing like other bloggers that I love and start posting little projects that I make and do. Okay, I'm making a pact to myself that I am going to get this blog going.
